What is a waypoint in Everquest 2?

Waypoints identify a point on a map in an Everquest 2 zone. They consist of three number separated by commas. The numbers can be negative or positive, or a combination of both.

For example, the waypoint where Gnasher is located in Obulus Frontier is -257, -8, 278.

How do I use a waypoint?

In the chat box, type in /waypoint <numbers> and Enter. A white X will appear on your map to show you the spot.
